RULES & REGULATIONS:
Students should arrive to class fifteen (15) minutes prior to their lesson. Students may not be allowed to enter the studio if they are more than fifteen minutes late for class without a written/or called in excuse. Students are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly manner, and with respect for others. If any student acts in any manner that would jeopardize the safety of him/herself or others, he/she will be dismissed immediately and a 50% refund may be granted. No student has ever been denied admission the CWSB. It is the School's policy to admit any student regardless of age, sex, color or creed.

PAYMENT & FEES:
Payments for each term should be made at time of registration and no later than the first week of classes. An assessment of 1.5% per month will be added to unpaid balances. Tuition payments must be cleared before each term, or the student will not be allowed to resume classes. There will be no refunds or adjustments for missed classes, or quitting mid-term. The CWSB does accept Mastercard/Visa.

ATTIRE
Women - Pink tights and pink ballet slippers required for all classes

Pre-Ballet/Combo - Pink tank leotard
Beginner/Intermediate I - Black tank leotard
Intermediate II - Black leotard (Technique) Green leotard/skirt (Variation)
Advanced - Black leotard (Technique) Burgundy leotard/skirt (Variation)

Men - Black tights, White T-shirt, white socks, and white or black shoes

Please Note. No street clothing or jewelry is allowed in the studio. Please note that students are expected to adhere to the required leotards for their classes and rehearsals. Students will not be allowed to attend class with ripped clothing, or attire that is not clean.

PERFORMANCES
Performances are not part of the lesson plan. No student is obligated to perform in any performance or demonstration at any time. Students participating in all School performances need to attend their classes and rehearsals in order to perform. The two weeks before and during the week of the performances, we may require some rearrangement of class schedules. Many extra hours are given to the students, please bear with us. Participation entails certain fees; including costume rental, striking the show, etc.

SNOW DAY - CANCELLED CLASSES
CWSB does not hold classes when the Wausau School District has cancelled class or does not hold school due to inclimate weather. These days are made up through the many hours of rehearsal that are given above the regular class schedule.

THE FACILITIES
The Central Wisconsin School of Ballet is located in the historic Mary Poor Chapel on Wausau's west side. The brick structure, originally built as an educational institution, has fostered learning in all disciplines. Its uses include an extension of the local YMCA and additional classroom space for an area technical school. During World War II, the facility was used as a training center for dwarf welders for wartime shipbuilding efforts. Those same dwarfs were later put to work in some of Walt Disney's most famous productions. Today, the air conditioned facility boasts state of the art features for a dance school. Modeled after the floors of the American Ballet Theatre in New York, two of the three studios consist of a basket weave construction of Southern Poplar, topped with Maple hardwood flooring. Each offers a varied degree of resilience and is conducive to a healthy dance environment.

The CWSB is a unique facility situated in an unusual setting of north central Wisconsin. Poised on the banks of the Wisconsin River, urban intimidations such as traffic congestion, pollution and crime are nonexistent and participants are able to concentrate on classroom technique, performance abilities, meeting new friends, and having fun.
